I can’t exactly put a finger on every single place we hit in Ohio because we were pretty sporadic about the places we decided to pull over and check out. We basically went from Ostrander –> Columbus –> Dayton. The reason for Ostrander is that we stayed at a friend’s parents house for the night. They had a lake with a barn-it was magical.
Anyways, Ohio is REALLY (unexpectedly) beautiful. Ohio was actually our very first stop along our road trip from DC so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised!
Yes, there’s a ton of farmland everywhere as you’d expect, but there are also a lot of neighborhoods with tons of property with grassy lawns and private farms (because it’s Ohio and that’s actually possible without going broke haha ($$$). AND it’s where my grandma is from.
We basically hit as many Wright Brothers museums/stops as we could.

Favorite part was visiting Carillon Historical Park. It’s like walking through a Wright Brother’s disneyland park. They give you a map because of how huge the place is! They have their original hangar in one of the buildings!! It was amazing to see in person just because of how huge their influence/impact was on American history. Need to read their book ASAP.

Also…huge.brick.historic.buildings.everywhere. My favorite ❤
