Besides the fact that i was fifth-wheeling my parents and another couple (hi Tod and Irimga!!) the entire ten days, it was a really really fun trip. It was good to see old friends and spend some time in a place I practically call my second home. I always come back feeling so rejuvenated and healthy. Nothing better ❤
Most of our time was spent on the south side in Poipu and hitting up our favorite spots such as…
Kauai Juice Co.
Pretty sure I was there about every day of the trip. Their stuff is addictively good. Plus they just opened a location in Poipu which is amazing/dangerous!
Best people-watching, hands down.
Conveniently across the street from our house! We saw a monk seal and a turtle yesterday. That’s never happened since I’ve been coming here!
Captain Andy’s Sailing Charters
The Napali coast is something everyone should see at least once in their life. We went on a dinner cruise and it was perfect. The crew was awesome and the food was super tasty. My mom and I sat at the very front of the catamaran with 20mph winds and it was a friggin blast. Salt water facial anyone?
…and their unbelievably beautiful GYM ❤ (no pictures unfortunately 😦 )
Hanalei Bay (North side…)
No place like it
Dinner at Eating House 1849
They need to get out of here with their Butterfish Rice Bowl. ADDICTIVELY GOODDD
Missed doing Allerton’s Beach and Ho’opi’i Falls this trip, so next time those are first on my list!
This place is so good and reasonably priced in my opinion. Perfect mixture of Hawaiian beachy and classic/on trend styles.
P.S. Bethany Hamilton was on our flight to San Diego tonight with her (really ridiculously good looking) husband and adorable baby boy. I almost went up to her to let her know I read her book back in the day when I used to be a wanna be surfer chick and was fan-girling a little. She seemed really nice!
